How are Domed Stickers made in Aquarius Media?
Domed sticker manufacturing starts with an image that needs to be printed on the print media. Once it’s done, the labels are cut out of the media and then finalised with a resin dome.
At Aquarius Media, we use the 540i Versacamm print and cut printer to produce crisp and vibrant print quality. The print run goes through the doming process on our Color-Dec doming machine. This machine can resin dome up to 20000 vinyl sticker decals a day.
Once the resin has been poured onto the sticker decals, it is baked in an industrial oven and then cemented. The hardened resin can’t be pulled off the decal once set.
